Susan Potratz

Children's Ministry Lead Coach

Sue’s background in Montana goes back extensively. Her great-grandparents settled in Eastern Montana. However, she was born on an Air-force base on the East Coast. She moved back as a toddler and has spent the rest of her time living in Montana.

At the age of 10, her Sunday School Teacher told her about Jesus. It was a heart felt desire to know more about this person called “Jesus”. At the age of 14 she accepted Christ.
Due to the her early Sunday School experience, it is has been her desire that children will grow to know, love and serve God. Her challenge has been to find a creative process to accomplish this. Her goal is to partner with parents and volunteers to equip kids for life with Jesus. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. In the book of James, God tells us to take “action”. So let’s do it!

Sue lives with her husband Mark in Somers. She has two grown sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen and Nicholas with his wife, Cristie.

Sue has many interests including child development. As well, she enjoys learning about other cultures through travel and art.
